The Kitchen Table IEP is run by Jessica Lane Consulting, LLC in Birmingham, Alabama. I keep this simple because you have enough paperwork already.

WHAT I COLLECT

When you use the contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you choose to share it, the topic you pick, and your message. It comes to my email so I can reply.

When you sign up for the free guide or my emails: your name and email address. My email list is managed by Kit.

When you buy a product or book a service: purchases and bookings happen on my Stan store, and payments are processed by Stripe. I see your name, email, and what you bought or booked. I never see or store your full card number.

When you subscribe on Substack or message me on Instagram: those platforms handle that information under their own privacy policies.

Basic site data: like most websites, the site host may record standard technical details such as your browser type and the pages you visit, and may use cookies the site needs to work. I do not use advertising trackers or analytics tools on this site.

ABOUT YOUR CHILD’S INFORMATION

This site is for parents and caregivers, not children. Please do not put your child’s full name, school records, or evaluation reports in the contact form.

If you hire me for a document review or strategy session, you will share records with me by email, and they are stored in my Google Drive. I use them only to do the work you asked for and keep them confidential. I never use a family’s details in public content unless they are changed so no one could recognize you. I keep client documents for seven years after your case closes and then delete them, unless you ask me to delete them sooner.

HOW I USE YOUR INFORMATION

To answer your questions and provide what you purchased or booked.
To send emails you signed up for, which you can stop at any time with the unsubscribe link.
To run my business, keep records, and meet legal and tax requirements.

I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone except the services that help me run the business (listed above), or if the law requires it.

YOUR CHOICES

Unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
Ask what information I have about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected].
Choose not to share optional details, like your phone number.

CHANGES

If I change how I handle information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
